Squad enjoy relaxing Sunday ahead of busy week.
Chigo, Maria and Johanna visited Portswood Church for the first time and shared some of their non-athletic talents to leave a lasting impression. Maria and Johanna sang "Mwari Wakanaka" and Chigo shared an inspiring testimony which challenged many of the congregation. Just after the service, former Chengelo volunteer Jamie Dickson arrived to join up with the squad for the remainder of the trip.
The athletes took part in a short training session to keep up their fitness ahead of Monday's Open Meeting hosted by Blackheath and Bromley Athletics Club. They will also compete at Woking and Brighton before Maria's birthday on Friday. A busy week awaits and the squad are in good spirits!
